Some people call it a viscometer or viscosimeter.. But this machine will not provide any Centipoise values according to international standards.. We prefer to call it a rotative texture analyser.. Provided with 2 plungers, a heavy high precision stepper motor providing a 3N.m torque, and a software for Windows (All versions) - Fix your pluger, keep it free, launch a calibration cycle from the software. Within a few seconds, the motor determines the power it has to deploy when the plunger is free of any pressure - Place the pluger inside your sample - Indicate the rotation speed (Between 1 and 300 rotations per minute) inside the software, and the number of rotations you want to make - Launch a cycle - The software provides continuously the power in mW it has to provide in order to turn inside your sample at the defined speed. - The precision of the data provided is +/0.1 mW, which is excellent You wil never find any other EU made precison instrument like that for a price of less than US$ 1250 ! We have designed RotoTA for rotative texture analysis of (But not limited to..) : - Dough for bread, cakes, bakery.. consistency / water content testing - Dairy products like cream, yoghurt, cottage cheese, milk, curd, sour milk consistency or viscosity testing - Compotes, jams, smoothies, purees, sauces - Oil The white helix of the plungers is made in ABS+Polycarbonate, which makes it sensitive to acetone and other solvants. Our viscometer can be used as well in resins or glues when they don’t contain solvants, or in cement (The plunger can turn during the curing of cement, and the data recorded at regular intervals - The plunger is lost in this case)
